Effective date: October 5, 2026
Someday (the “App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what the App stores and what, if anything, leaves your device.
The App has no accounts and no server. Everything you save stays on your device.
| Stored | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Country and city name | Recording places you want to go | On device |
| Best months to visit | Reminding you when it’s time to book | On device |
| Notes | Recording why you saved it | On device |
| Shared link URLs | Finding them again later | On device |
So the share sheet can offer the same features, a copy of each saved place’s name, country, and months is kept in the app group container. This copy also never leaves your device, and does not include notes or links.
| Collected | Purpose | Transmitted? |
|---|---|---|
| Usage events (timestamps of saves, notification opens) | Improving the App | No — stored on device only |
| Scheduled notifications | Reminding you when the season arrives | No — stored on device only |
The App contacts the network in only two situations.
| Situation | What is sent | Recipient |
|---|---|---|
| You save a YouTube link | The video URL, to retrieve its title | YouTube (Google) |
| You tap “Find flights” | The destination name you tapped, plus affiliate identifiers | Trip.com |
The App’s flight link is an affiliate link. If you book through it, the App’s developer may receive a commission from Trip.com. You pay nothing extra.
The URL carries the name of the destination card you tapped (for example, Kyoto), and that value is recorded as a click on Trip.com. The developer can see, in the Trip.com partner dashboard, how many times each destination was tapped, in aggregate.
See the Google Privacy Policy and the Trip.com Privacy Policy for how those services handle data.
The App does not share your information with third parties and does not use any processor on your behalf. It uses no analytics services, advertising networks, or cloud storage.
The one exception is described in section 2: when — and only when — you tap the flight link yourself, the destination name travels with you to Trip.com. That is navigation you initiate, not information the App hands over from its own store.
Because all data is stored on your device, deleting the App deletes everything with it. There is no backup server, so deleted content cannot be recovered.
| Data | Deleted when |
|---|---|
| Saved destinations, notes, links | Immediately when deleted in the App; entirely when the App is removed |
| Share sheet copy | Updated when a destination is deleted; entirely when the App is removed |
| Usage events | Capped at the most recent 2,000, oldest replaced first; entirely when the App is removed |
| Scheduled notifications | Cancelled when a destination is deleted or its months change; entirely when the App is removed |
| Right | How |
|---|---|
| Review what is stored | ”See all” inside the App |
| Delete an entry | Delete from the destination’s detail screen |
| Turn off notifications | Device Settings > Notifications > Someday |
| Delete everything | Removing the App deletes all data stored on the device |
Because nothing is held on a server, you can exercise these rights directly on your device without submitting a request.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
If this policy changes, we will note it in the App or in the App Store release notes.
